Senior Systems Engineer

Department: Combat Capab Syst Eng Sol
Office: San Diego CA

Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance, SCI eligible and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position.

This position is contingent on contract award

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ systems engineering experience supporting Navy C4I programs.

  • Demonstrated experience transitioning low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Information System (IS) technologies (TRL 5 and below) into active and operational DoD C4I systems.

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

  • Possession of one or more of the following professional certifications:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP)

    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with systems integration, lifecycle management, and system-of-systems architecture for Navy C4I programs.

  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and TRL assessment methodologies.

  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and interface with senior military and civilian stakeholders.
